The Goal
Our Dimensioner, known as the Dimensionalizer, accurately measures, reclassifies, and documents freight before it ships. By automatically capturing dimensions and attaching photos directly to the bill of lading, the Dimensionalizer helps shippers eliminate manual data entry errors, reduce disputes, and make better use of dimensional data.
By combining advanced hardware with intelligent software, this Dimensioner ensures every shipment is fully documented and verified before leaving the dock.
Patented Technology
The Dimensionalizer is a proprietary system of precision cameras and patented software designed to scan, measure, and photograph freight in real time. Using secure APIs, the system seamlessly communicates dimensional data and images to the Transportation Management System (TMS) and, when applicable, directly into the customer’s ERP.
As shipment data is collected, the Dimensioner identifies frequently used freight profiles, enabling faster and more accurate price quoting. These insights are also used to help renegotiate carrier agreements and volume-based discounts on the shipper’s behalf.
The Dimensionalizer captures images of each shipment from five distinct angles, automatically attaching them to the system record and the bill of lading—providing invaluable documentation in the event of damage claims or freight classification disputes.
