Pittsburgh-based Target Freight Management acquired freight auditing and payment service National Traffic Service Incorporated, according to a news release Monday.

Target Freight Management will fully acquire National Traffic Service Inc.’s assets, but the company did not disclose financials of the deal.

NTS’s 33 employees will continue to work out of their current headquarters in Amherst, New York.

“Our acquisition of National Traffic Service is a natural fit for TFM’s founding goal of providing our customers with the most efficient, reliable and cost-effective shipping process possible,” Target Freight Management CEO Mike Wagner said in a prepared statement. “This acquisition considerably expands our client base, as well as our portfolio of proprietary technology, which helps us leverage our accumulated knowledge from both companies to better serve a wider variety of customers.”
