The following message is being communicated from our Saia rep:

Please note that this information does not include the current weather impacting CO, UT and now MN.  I am sure I will have more on that later.

Instead, this info reflects the continued impact from the past weather events.

First –   the message below applies to Dallas, Fort Worth and Garland  (and will probably be in effect all week):

  • Limiting PU’s to 5 pallet spaces per pro and not more than 12’ total at time of PU (the dispatchers will be allowed to expand that if they see an opportunity that makes sense for the terminal)
  • Limiting swap customers to one swap a day
  • No new swap customers
  • Limiting up to an excluding PU of non-profile freight
  • Qualify existing 3PL PU’s with the intent being to insure the freight to be picked up is of a normal profile.

The following applies to our Cincinnati Region:

We have been advised that the CIN region is still limited for pickups due to excessive backlog at many terminals.  No more than 8 pallets per pickup and no Excessive Length.  Daily swaps limited to 1.
