We have a significant winter storm pushing through our east region today that will bring on measurable snow, ice, and frigid temps. This system has already impacted local service areas, and we expect that to spread as the day goes on. There is also potential of the linehaul being delayed or shutdown tonight in some areas. Some of the conditions may make roads a bit slippery, cause delays or shutdowns for some Tuesday local pickup and delivery operations, delay or shutdown some Tuesday evening linehaul operations, and delay some Wednesday morning inbound operations. I will send more info on delays as the day goes on. There were also a few delays reported this morning due to weather related issues last night.
We will be shutting off any and all Protect From Freeze movement starting today through 1/3/21.
