Here are the changes for tonight’s operations:

–          Hubs closed: Pittsburgh, Williamsport, Chicopee, PineBrook, Wilmington, Richmond, Pulaski, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Nashville, Birmingham, Springfield

–          In the northeast there will be no Linehaul or hub schedules running tonight with the exception of Harrisburg south, West Middlesex west and Wilmington south

–          No Linehaul schedules in/out or through western Tennessee and Arkansas. No Linehaul schedules into Nashville.

–          In Texas we will be running a reduced Linehaul network this evening only north and west out of the Dallas/Ft Worth area. This will be coordinated between the terminals and central dispatch.

We anticipate that we will be able to open the entire network tomorrow and this weekend.

Everyone, due to the current weather situation and terminal status’ in different parts of the country, Estes is imposing a freight Embargo for freight into certain areas of the country effective immediately. Embargoed areas are as follows:

TX entire state..all inbound freight

OK entire state…all inbound freight

PNW(Washington and Oregon) inbound from the states of: ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, MD, DE, VA, WV, OH, IN, MI, IL KY, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, TN, MS

Northern California inbound from the states of: CT, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, VA, VT, WI, WV

Arizona inbound from the states of: CT, IL, IN, MA, MD, ME, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, VA, VT, WI

We will keep everyone advised when this embargo is lifted.

Due to the previous storms and the current snow/ice storm over parts of the southwest and projected impacts later tonight below are the changes to tonight’s operations:

–          Still no travel in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, central and western Tennessee, Louisiana for tonight

–          The following hubs are closed: Fort Worth, San Antonio, Springfield, Nashville, Birmingham, Richmond, Pulaski

–          The following bypasses will not run tonight or tomorrow: Florence/Wilmington, Greensboro/Harrisburg, Knoxville/Harrisburg, Charlotte/Indianapolis/Columbus, Atlanta/Indianapolis

It is currently snowing in Arkansas and Tennessee, ice and freezing rain in Louisiana and Mississippi. The storm is expected to continue northeastward through this evening into eastern Tennessee, Western North Carolina and Virginia into the overnight hours. The winter weather is projected to continue tomorrow in the mid-Atlantic and move to the northeast by tomorrow afternoon which will impact travel in the northeast and northern southeast regions tomorrow and tomorrow night.
