Hurricane Warnings In Effect For East Coast of Florida; Major Storm Expected In The Upper Midwest On Thursday
Hurricane Warnings are in effect for a good portion of the east coast of Florida in anticipation of Nicole, which is expected to approach within the hurricane warning area Wednesday night with dangerous storm surge, hurricane conditions and heavy rain with flooding. Meanwhile, a powerful system will impact the Upper Midwest on Thursday with snow, blizzard conditions, winds, rain and severe storms
Due to the impact of Hurricane Nicole, we will alter our linehaul operations tonight as follows.
- No linehaul in or out of Florida
- No Jacksonville, FL hub operation
- We anticipate the storm to significantly weaken as the night progresses and advise on schedules tomorrow AM
- Any driver that does not run tonight, will need to be available to run Saturday as needed.
