In 2013, FedEx introduced a new service called “FedEx One Rate” to compete with the Priority Mail flat rate programs of the USPS. One Rate is a flat rate shipping pricing option, available for qualifying FedEx Express U.S. shipments. The beauty of One Rate pricing is its predictability. Shippers can add to the box without adding to the cost. But like the USPS, One Rate shippers are required to use FedEx packaging. One Rate offers 12 sizes of FedEx-provided packaging: Envelope, Large & Small Paks, Large & Small Box, Medium Box, Large Box, Extra Large Box and Tube. Learn more about the advantages and disadvantages of One Rate by reading the full white paper.
