Below is an update from Saia regarding areas affected by the recent storms:
10:00am update :
Saia terminal in Montgomery Alabama is now without power.
Original Alert:
Jacksonville Region– 100% operational.
Atlanta Region:
Terminals: Mobile and Pensacola– buildings are in good shape, but both running on generator power. Both MBL and PEN are communicating mass power outages in service areas that will impact customer operations today.
Pensacola– Extremely limited- No inbound arrived overnight, so we are not planning any deliveries. We will have 1 driver available for local pick-ups, but do not plan on running any pedal runs for pick up or delivery.
Mobile– Open, but limited. We plan to run all areas today except the Gulf Shores area, Beach routes, and Foley (localized flooding). Not all IB arrived, but we plan to put out all freight that has.
Dothan– 100% operational. No IB arrived, however we have a full day of deliveries already processed and we are launching early with string workload to deliver out in all areas.
