As conditions in Florida worsen as Hurricane IAN strengthens with landfall just hours away, below is our operational plan of action for the foreseeable future.
No embargoes have been put in place.
All linehaul into and out of the state of FL has been stopped. Once the storm passes and roads are safe, we will resume normal linehaul operations.
Our ability to catch up will be dependent on:
1. Are service centers operational….meaning no flooding or storm damage. We do not expect service center issues as we have taken precautions.
2. Are employees able to get to work?
3. Are roads passable?
4. Are customer able to open?
This is basically an hour by hour weather event. We cannot plan anything for tomorrow until the storm passes.
