We are proud to announce that DC Logistics has purchased GLS US Freight, formerly known as Mountain Valley Express, and GLS US Solutions. This transaction will close on September 1, 2024. As part of this transaction, the new combined carrier will rebrand to Mountain Valley Express.
As a valued customer, we want you to be well informed as to how this integration will be managed to provide peace of mind that your supply chain needs will continue to be serviced with the quality and reliability you expect.

Q: Why did DC Logistics purchase GLS Freight?
A: This acquisition is a milestone for our combined organization which will expand our footprint across California, Arizona and Nevada overnight. We are creating a top 25, premier regional carrier on the west coast. Separately these two brands carry a strong professional reputation with a history of excellent service and quality. The combination of the two businesses provides even greater potential to enhance our value proposition.
Q: What benefits are there for the customer in combining these two networks?
A: The benefits of this business transaction include new service points for all customers, increased opportunities to drive on-time service through increased density, a lower cost structure to increase competitiveness, and in some cases, new technology to support our customer’s business. As changes evolve, we will share details about these enhancements.
Q: What changes can be expected in how a customer’s account is serviced?
A: In the short term, nothing will change. Your day-to-day contacts and interaction with your carrier will remain unchanged.
In the coming months, we will start to combine operations to better service our new combined customer base. You will be well informed regarding the timing of these events and any changes in day-to-day interaction that will result.
Q: Will my Sales contacts change?
A: Initially there will be no changes. In most cases, your Sales contacts will remain unchanged. For those instances where new support will be provided, there will be a formal communication to ease into that adjustment. Changes will only occur in those cases where we can better support your needs as a result.
Q: How will I be kept informed regarding the timeline of this integration and the resulting changes in how my business is supported by Mountain Valley Express?
A: In addition to your sales/customer service contacts, we will provide frequent updates via email regarding upcoming changes.
